Two days left to enter the EcoKids #BatteryHeroArtContest!
posted on 2015-02-25
EcoKids has partnered with Call2Recycle and the Kidoons Network to host a fun new contest for students in Canada, grades K-8. The EcoKids Battery Hero Art Contest is an opportunity for students to put their creative talents to work. To boost awareness around proper battery recycling, we’re asking students to create their battery hero: a superhero who prevents batteries from filling up our landfills! Students are asked to draw their hero and tell us about the heroic work that they do.
The contest runs from January 12 – February 27, 2015. The winning battery hero will star in a new episode of Paddy the Beaver on the Kidoons Network and be featured on ecokids.ca!
